RESTAURANTS Ermionida is getting more and more cosmopolitan and the array . The traditional Greek restaurants, the taverna has a tendency to disappear. Of course you will still find this family run business where you go straight in the kitchen and order "on sight". Others who do mainly fresh fish and seafood: are called psarotaverna. Those who serve grilled meat are psitopolio and if they feature numerous appetizers and dips, they're called mezethopolio or ouzeri. On Ermionida today, one can find a wide array of international eating styles.

CAFES & PATISSERIES The traditional Greek coffee-shop was called the cafeneion. You won't find a lot of them anymore. It is generally a place where men gather to play tavli (backgammon), while enjoying a Greek coffee, a frappé or an ouzo. They are being replaced by "global style" café's as a reply to the demand of new guests.
• CAFES BEACH BARS If you like to be served iced drinks while sun-bathing and have a snack or lunch at the beach, you will find beach bars at the most popular beaches of Ermionida.
BARS Ermionida is a holiday resort. And as such it has to entertain it's guest. The area has many different kind of bars to satisfy different moods. A lot of them open at day time as a café and transform to bars at night.

GELATERIAS In the hot summer days, evenings or after clubbing, it's always cool to have an ice cream. Gelaterias offer many flavors and are open almost 24 hours.
FOOD SHOPS If you have rented self-catering accommodation, you'll need to make your shopping at the supermarket or the neighboring grocer.

Super Market, Dimitra Hilari, Ermioni

Greek Food One of the main characteristics of this ceremony is that instead of having your own dish in front of you, the table is filled with a variety of little plates (called mezze) that you share with your party. Another element of this beloved ritual is time. There is no limit to how long meals in Greece may last, so relax and enjoy!
