Ermioni offers ideal vacation combining harmony of an island type atmosphere with a variety of entertainment.


 


The port of Ermioni is the commercial center of the city along with the Mandrakia, which is located at the southern part. At the picturesque taverns and the traditional cafe with the octopus hung out to dry and the fishermen’s nets, the visitor can enjoy wine or ouzo with fresh sea delights.
 
The Mandrakia is the liveliest area of the city, it has restaurants, cafeterias, and night clubs offering entertainment till morning.
 
The visitor can take a stroll at the Bisti a small tree planted peninsula at the end of the city which is also an out door archeological site. During the summer, swimming is a joy in the sparkling clean waters. Any time in the year a stroll is a unique experience.
 
Mylos is another place one must not miss, located on the hill of Krothi, across the port. The view of Ermioni from there is breath taking.


 


Besides the crystal clear waters of Bisti, you may go swimming at the sandy beaches of Kouverta, Sentoni, Petrothalassa, Aghios Dimitrios, Dardiza and the shores of Thermisias and Plepi.
 
At Ermionis is the Historic Foklore Museum. The visitor may get to know the history the social and the social traditions of Ermioni. The museum is housed in the home of Ekonomou, built in the 18th century, in the heart of the old city, near by the metropolitan church of Taxiarchon.
