Porto Heli is situated 7 klm south of Kranidi .
Its port is one of the safest ports of the area and it is ideal for
swimming and water – sports. The beaches in Porto Heli can offer
relaxation to the visitor. In an area south of Porto Heli there are
remnants of the ancient city of Halieis.

Also what makes the city of Halieis very special
is the abundance of the findings like pottery , coins , jewellery
and statues.
Another characteristic of the city is the
preservation and the study of the sunken houses , the temple of
Apollo , the cemetery , the fortifications and the acropolis of
Halieis , which lies 300 meters ashore.
